Updated: Jul 8, 2020

Welcome to the first episode of the Life with Color podcast! This week, I sit down with eating disorder psychologist, Dr. Joy Zelikovsky, as she examines the relationship between eating disorders and society. In this episode, Dr. Joy introduces what eating disorders are, reviews the different types that are recognized today, and explains who is at risk for the development of one (spoiler alert: everyone is!!) Joy also discusses how western culture, and more specifically, how popular white culture may create an environment where eating disorders develop at higher rates.
